Unlike standard ball screws every GRT is specially prepared at the customer´s request. Since the number of pieces is not very high, almost all orders are manufactured individually. Hence we can´t have a supply of individual components in stock.

In our catalog there are only standard spindles. For special purposes it is certainly possible for the number or length of rolls to vary, so that better load ratings can be obtained or smaller nuts can be used. However, since these are pure empirical values we always ask for very exact details regarding how the spindles will be used.

In pinciple we need a customer drawing for machined steel shafts. Our production is capable of grinding, lathing, milling and separating. We entrust the processing of special parts to reliable suppliers who can carryout erosions or deep hole drillings. Special materials are also available from stock. Specifically these are X90 (Mat.Nr.: 1.4112) hard-chrome plated steel shafts (Mat.Nr.: 1.1213 chrome coating beween 5 and 10 µm, hollow shafts (Mat.Nr.: 1.3505) and also hard-chrome plate hollow shafts with smaller diameters (available upon request).

Yes.
We manufacture about 80% of our spindles according to customer drawings. However, it is a good idea in any case to make sure the dimensions conform with the DIN 69051. The manufacturing processes we handle are: grinding, planetary thread milling and rolling. On principle the end machining is manufactured according to the customer´s request unless the customer expressly leaves this open. In such cases we will manufacture according to our own specifications.
